I follow Burdine (various spellings, Bowdine, Bodine, Boidine, Birdine), older generation called him "Bird" born in 1800, in Washington/Lee Co. VA, son of John Young and Susanna Whisenhunt. John and Sussana would move to Wayne County, Kentucky by 1812 or so.

51. Susanna WHISENHUNT was born about 1782 in VA. She died in Missouri. She married John YOUNG. They had the following children:
+139 i. Sarah YOUNG.
+140 ii. John YOUNG.
+141 iii. Edward YOUNG.
+142 iv. Isreal YOUNG.
+143 v. Bodine YOUNG

Bodine married Rachel MINTON February 13, 1821 in Wayne County, Kentucky.Witnessed by John and Mr. Minton.

What happened to Rachel Minton prior to 1832? "Bird" remarries a Susan _____ (nickname could have been "Sonnie") .

Does anyone know what her last name could have been?, and has the following children.

Lilly Young b: 1833/1834 in , , Tennessee
William Young b: 1834 in , , Kentucky
Ann Jeanette Young b: 1835/1837 in , Wayne, Kentucky
John Young b: 1837/1838 in , , Kentucky
Ada Young b: 1839/1840 in , , Kentucky
James Young b: 1841/1842 in , Fentress, Tennessee
Polly Young b: 1843/1844 in , Fentress, Tennessee
George W. Young b: 1854/1855 in , Fentress, Tennessee

this family would settle later on in Fentress County, Tennessee (Present day Travisville, Pickett County, TN). I am descended from James "Jim" Young. Any information would be appreciated!
