I am searching for information about the birth mother of my G.G.grandfather Isaac F. Cooper (b. 8/22/1812). His father was James Cooper (b. 1795, Tenn) and his paternal Grandfather was Isaac Cooper (b. 1775 N.C.) was 1/4 Choctaw. His paternal grandmother was Nancy Black Fox (b. 1775, VA) was full blood Cherokee. James Cooper married Lucretia Blevins (3/17/1814) in Wayne County, two years after the birth of Isaac F.
I have notes that state he was married before. I have no idea who his birth mother was. He lived with the Cherokee tribe and it is speculated that is wife was full Cherokee. We don't know if she died or left.
Another possibility is that Isaac was adopted (my speculation). He and Narcissa did not have any other children, so it is a slight possibility.
They moved away from Kentucky to Arkansas due to pressures from white settlers sometime after 1815.
Any information would be appreciated. Thank you.
