Yes, "Bury" Thompson gave consent for his dau. Susan to marry "Cirenous Keeth", married 29 Jan 1850 by Daniel Godsey (Wayne Co. Ky. Marriages and Vital Records 1801-1860, Vol. II, June Baldwin Bork). Do you have a better site than the above for the marriage of Greenberry and Peggy Dodson which shows Benjamin Thompson that I have assumed was Greenberry?

I had no idea who George Thompson was. It makes sense that he could be a s/o Greenberry, naming a son after his father. Believe I have seen that Barbara was the d/o the Rev. Daniel Godsey.

The children on the 1850 census, Susannah and possibly George are the only children of Greenberry that I know about but there is room for others. Who is Irene that appears on the 1860 census? Could she have been married to Daniel? He was not on the 1870 census but she was and apparently had four more children. If Daniel died it would have been shortly before the census because David was age 7 months. Also, who was Raney, age 35, on the 1870 census? On the 1880 census (Page 568) only dau. Mary Ann and a GD are in the household of Irene. What happended to the younger children if they were hers on the 1870 census?

Thanks for the Keith info. I"m sure I will have questions later. I assume Cyrenious that married Susannah Thompson was the s/o John and Delilah.

Back to my theory that Nancy Keith had died and William J. had married Mary Ann Owens in 1879. Don't believe this was the subject William J. I don't have the marriage but believe it was Polly Ann Flynn. She died 23 Nov. 1912. I found her death certificate (I have access to death records 1911 - 1951 at the Filson Club here in Louisville, Ky.). She was born in Nov. 1853 in Wayne Co. and was the d/o Green B. Flynn and Sallie Johnson. She was a widow, age 58, and buried in the Denny Cemetery. On the 1860 census she was at home, age 7, and listed as Mary Ann. She was listed as Mary Ann, age 26, on the 1880 census with William. On the 1900 census (ED 130, P6) she is head of household, Wm. G. is 20, son Joseph is 6, dau. Martha E. is 17 and son-in-law Geo. Davis is 18. In 1910 she is 57, with dau. Mary 35, Jos. R. 15 and 3 grandchildren in the household. In the Thompson death records I did not find a John Jasper our Louisa.
