If you ever find that you are kin to the Harmons of Wayne Co. Please let me know. The Dishman and Upchurch and Harmon were families that married into each other. I do know that the Harmon/ans and some Dishmans and Upchurches came from Fentress, Overton and Pickett counties in Tennessee.
I am related to Caleb Harmon who had son, James Harmon and daughter Elizabeth that married an Ambrose Dishman. My grandfather Charlie Harmon was married to Perna Dishman.
I know this is confusing but I know that these families go hand in hand with each other.
Good Luck in Monticello.
Charla
