Hi: I would like to correspond with someone
who has info. on the Martin family also from
Wayne Co., Ky. Benjamin Franklin Martin is
my great-grandfather and Shelby Martin is my
great-great grandfather. I know that B. F.
& wife Belinda/Melinda are buried in the
Valley Oak Cemetery in Casey Co. (Argyle), Ky. From what I have found is that Benjamin
and either a brother OR Benjamin and his
father Shelby organized the Valley Oak Church
and Cemetery. I would like to know where
Shelby and his wife's were buried, does
anyone know that could tell me? Also I am
very much interested in pictures of B. F.
and wive's and also of Shelby and wive's, if
someone has any pictures of them. I sure
hope someone will be able to help me very
soon. Thanks so much in advance for anyone's
You may email me if you wish:

Thank you again,
p.s. I also have the little book called
"A UNIQUE FAMILY" by William Perry Martin and
I also have a book called "WARE'S PICTURE
GALLERY" by Estella (Ware) Hall. She was a
daughter of the Virgil Ware that was the
photographer. Thought I'd add that little
info. here.
