From looking at records I think Stella's middle initial is R. and her maiden name was Paris, daughter of James and Nancy Paris. Nancy, her mother, must have remarried to a Swan before 1920. Stella is with John Wayne, her husband in 1910, no kids yet. Stella R. Paris shows in 1900 with parents James age 43 and Nancy age 30 in Union County KY. Stella is age 6 here.
