nathaniel merritt was born in meade co. ky. in 1800-1810 he married harriett Bevens in 1828 IN UNION CO KY. Togather they were the parents of robert merritt b. abt 1842 in meade co. nathaniel was baptized ai St. Theresa catholic church in 1834. he died and was buried in meade co. i have not been able to link him to his parents. I believe his father is david merritt of sampson co. NC. b.abt 1779 s/o robert merit.but i can't make the connection HELP!!!!!
