My relatives Beauchamps lived in Spencer county after moving from Fayette,Lexington Ky. Costin, Isaac, Hetty,
Betty, Preston, and icon James H Beauchamp from Taylorsville and more lived in Spencer. One item is Hetty and her sister married more than one Beauchamp brother. My search is on Preston B, my direct relative Horatio Mathew Beauchamp b 12/ 1826 in Lexington called himself Madison B.
He married Lucy A. Payne, daughter of Silas Payne who married Sarah Talbot. Beauchamp,Talbot, and Paynes moved to Andrew co Mo in 1853. The Beauchamps from Spencer and elsewhere were in Confederate Cavalry. Some were killed at Perryville battle . I am beginning to think Horatio(Madison) could have been born to a single woman in Lexington in 1826 and she named fathers last name Beauchamp. If you have info please let me know.
