Van Vranken of 263 My Simpson Morgan was born in Simpson County, KY in 1836. His brother, Samuel Morgan, b. abt. 1823 in Ky. Both are enumerated on the 1860 Hardin Co. IL census, living next door to each other. Simpson had a sister, Ruth, born around 1838. Their mother, Mary Morgan, was born in SC abt. 1805. There are a lot of similarities.
