I have been given information that some of my ancestors are a family of Churchills that were from Shelby County, Kentucky. The farthest back I have is Richard Churchill, died bef. 1810, married to Mary Bell 9 Sept 1794 in Bourbon Co, KY. I believe they had children Nancy, Mary (Polly), Richard and John. Some of John's children moved to Texas and it is John from whom I am descended.
Does anyone have any information to share regarding this family and its origins / history?
