I am desperately in need to contact someone in Scott Co., Kentucky who might be able to locate a birth record for John A. LEACH born April 6, 1836 in Griebville near Georgetown. Another contact has informed me that he had a sister, Elizabeth LEACH, born 1811, however, there is quite a difference in birth years.
Obituary for John stated his father was Stephen and mother, Miriam. John and his mother were in Missouri in 1850 census. They ended up in WA.
I have researched and researched online but have not been able to locate any records for John LEACH's birth or parents. I do not know Miriam's maiden name.
This has been quite a mystery. If you can assist, I would be grateful. Many thanks,
