I am trying to locate the names of James Frelin Adkins parents. He lived on the Rowan-Elliott county line, I think. According to his headstone he was born in 1867 and died in 1926. married to (1) Marcie Folley, and (2) Martha Sparks/Mauk(?) He had a daughter by Marcie named Nora B. Adkins Hamm, and several other children by Martha. In the 1870 Christy Creek census there is a James Adkins listed in the Levi Adkins/Pricey Fultz family. I don't know if this is the same James, as the ages do not match up. James had sisters, or half sisters named May and Sallie, and a brother named Thomas. Does anyone have any info on this line?
