John Owens Tucker B c1788 Died c1860 (maybe earlier) married to Elizabeth (Bettie) Bennett B c1800 D c1850.Marraige in 1820.
John Owens fought in the war of 1812. Son John's death certificate states his father born in Virginia. He was from the Cherokee nation although I don't know if he was full blooded, mixed or "raised by".
Their Children were:
James 1821 1854
Frances "Fanny" (Stigall) 1828-1921
Martha 1829-????
Thomas 1830-1914
John 1838-1924 (my Great Grandfather)

Family lore says that John was in Kentucky with his mother by 1840. I have no idea what happened to his father.
