I just got started on my Childress family tree and wanted to see if anyone has more info.
1.grandfather..Alexander (Alex)childress,born 1884,d 1980
M.Mary Eunice sloan b 1898,d 1985
2.G.Grandfather..William Jackson Childress,b 1862,Married
Elizabeth Justice 1880.d 1887,2nd wife,addie jane williams
3.G.G.Grandfather..Alexander Childress,b 1837,married
Nancy Ann Ratliff,marriage oct 10,1860
children...William Jackson, Mary J, James Harve.
4.G.G.G. Grandfather, Flemon or Fleming Childers,b 1808
married Charity Matney....Think I am correct on his wife name,but I remember My Granfather Alex talking about his
Grandfather Alexander,and his G.Grandfather ,Fleming.
