Anita: You may be able to get some info on him in the records of the 39th mounted ky vol. inf. , he served in I believe in co K as a sargent and has a distinguished record of service in the civil war, while looking up my family I read about him there, they have a website with a roster and a brief history of those who served...hope this helps.....jim
