Thomas Callahan m. Matilda Pruitt, Oldham County KY, 1820’s-30’s

Does anyone have information on a Callahan (all spelling variations apply) family living in or around Oldham County, KY in the 1820-30’s? I have Thomas Callahan who married Matilda Pruitt (Pruet, Prewett, etc.), daughter of Brite Pruitt, in Oldham County, July 3, 1827. The Pruitts are well documented, but Thomas Callahan seems to have popped from the ground fully formed and ready to plow. Thomas and Matilda went to Morgan County, Indiana along with the Pruitt family just after 1830, and according to later census records there, he was born in Kentucky about 1800. He is the only Callahan in Morgan County, IN, so apparently none of his family made the move. I can find no Callahans in Oldham or surrounding Kentucky counties during the 1800-1830 period, although some do show up there in the 1850’s, twenty years after Thomas and Matilda went to Indiana. Their children’s names have the usual mix, William, Elizabeth, Michael, Nancy, John, etc. I have no idea if any of them are Callahan family names. Any help greatly appreciated!
