You might try this Library of Congress site. It has copies of the Ohio County newspaper during the 1880's and early 1900's. You will have to browse, but you can probably find the tornado and maybe some details. Good luck. I'm still hunting for the Cooksey-Smith Cemetery. http://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/lccn/sn84037890/
