I am searching for information on the family of my gggrandmother, maiden name Emily Hardwick, born about 1813 in Shelby County,Kentucky. She married my gggrandfather, David G. Ford (born abt 1809) there. They are on the 1840 and 1850 censuses for Ohio County, Kentucky. I know she had a sister named Nancy. Their children were: Garland Hardwick (born about 1834), Frances (Fanny)(born abt. 1836, married Charles Massie), Mary (born abt 1838, married Dabner Maddox, d. 1919), Nancy (born abt 1840),Martha (born abt 1842), Elisha (born about 1844), William (born about 1846, married Sally Ford),John (born about 1849), and James Harvey, my great-grandfather (born Oct. 24, 1857, married Emma Jane Helm). My grandfather said they called Emily "Little Grandma", because she was under five feet tall. Any info appreciated.
