Don't know if what I found will help you are not it is so far back.

Mary, wife of J.W. Crowder, b.7 Sep 1875 d.14 May 1907, this is from MT. Vernon, Cem. Hwy 1164 and Sulpher Springs Rd. Ohio County Ky.

Ohio County 1850 census, Henry Crowder age 23
Martha age 26
Francis age 4
Thomas age 10 months

HH #444 Crowder, Elizabeth age 50 b.VA
David age 19
William age 16

HH #445 Green Crowder age 22
Lucinda age 39

HH #578 Anna Crowder age 18, living with Watson family.

Ohio Co. marriages 1799-1840
Ann Crowder marr. Cornelius Stewart 24 Jan 1835, bondsman, Thomas Crowder.

Lucinda Crowler marr. Moses Daugherty, 3 May 1838.

THOMAS CROWDER

Thomas Crowder was born in Virginia, Prob. Mechlenburg Co. around 1796 and moved with his family to Sumner Co. TN before 1810 where he married Mary Elizabeth Nimo, daughter of William Nimo on 18 Sep 1816. He was a member of the Tenn. Volunteers in 1812-13, They moved to Ohio Co. abt 1823. Thomas d. abt 1849 and Elizabeth d.between 1870 and 1880 in Cromwell.

Their children all lived in Ohio Co. Ky, and were Lucinda, Elizabeth Ann, David H, Lavina marr. Bennett Bracher, Thomas Cage marr. Anna Watson and 2nd Martha Pearson and served in the Civil War, Henry marr. Martha English, 2nd Ellen Steward, 3rd Martha Alford and fought for the Union, Calvin Green marr. Lucinda Campbell, marr. 2nd M.C. Pirtle 3rd Elizabeth Leach, William A. marr. Clarissa Dockery, 2nd Hester Thomas Scaggs and served in the Civil War.

From Thomas down to here was sent to WCK/FRA by Glenda Potts Tahcker, 3135 Settles Rd. Owensboro Ky 42303.

You might be able to get some info. on Walter Forbes from the Coal Co.
