Hoping Yvonne is still active.
I am looking for a John Davis who had a son Thomas Davis and lived on Noland Creek, Nelson Co., KY in the 1790s.

I have come across the Will of John Davis refered to by Yvonne. Lots of info, listing his children in 1801 as: Thomas, Elizabeth Bell, Martha Coy, Ann Coy, John and Susanna. John and Susanna were under 21 yrs at the time.
The Will was Probated on 7-20-1812.

My Thomas Davis (1795-1875) was born on Noland Creek, but was married to a Sarah S. Davis at Kettle Creek in Cumberland Co., KY on Feb 26, 1815.

Y-DNA testing has also shown that my Davis line is most closely linked to the Lewis line, which was well represented in Nelson Co.

Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated.
Dan
