Thanks Chas for your reply--I had hit that before in my research, also a central or Salem Central ? I also saw in my research where the name Bairdstown Pike mentioned ? Your info is new to me on this and I do thank you for your reply. My 4x great grandfather Daniel Graff/Grass was supposed to have been taken in by a Hynes when 2 to 3 years old which puts date at about 1776-1778-- don't believe a Hynes in this area until about 1779--just all the more confusing but I also do not put a lot of faith in letter left behind by great grandaughter of Daniel Graff/Grass, a Miss Laura Wright--- my Daniel could have been older---still has me wondering tho where the name of Alfred HYNES Grass Sr. and Alfred HYNES Grass Jr. fit in on my grand parents---thanks again Chas -- Dick
