If you track your Donahue's to Nelson County Kentucky then we may have a connection. There were several Donohoo's (spelling was changed later) in the New Hope area. The first one I have is John Donohoo who was born in 1756 married Nancy Ann ?. Died in 1815. He had a son James who was born 1790 and married Elizabeth Pickerell. Her father is listed on different records as William and Richard. I don't know which is correct. They married Dec. 24, 1811 I found this information on the Nelson County Marriage Record for that year. I have been following another of John's sons that is my husband's great great grandfather.

Hope this helps.
