Dorothy:

I also believe the George Brown is one from Hardin Creek area of Nelson county and think he is connected to Jeremiah Brown of Pottinger Creek area of Nelson co.

Also am thinking they are connected to Peter Brown on Lower Nelson co., Ky. A couple of years ago I assisted a distant cousin of mine on Peter Brown and will dig out her file and see what I found out about him. I believe that Jeemiah was son of Peter Brown Sr and Frances Jarboe. Wonder if George brown was Jeremiah Brown?? Or one of Jeemiah's brothers??

Did you check out Nelson Co Roundtable web site?? If not there is a list of about 8 persons working on Brown surname in Nelson co and believe you check it out. The address is:

http://rootsweb.com/~kycgr/

I got the information you have on George brown and will study it out andmay ask you some questions after I study it some and check it out with my notes.

All I know that the information is out there but just have to keep looking. I also got some old Nelson county bulletins and will check them out to see if I can locate any clues.

Talk to you later...Chas of Tucson

When on this site scroll down and click on surnames.
