POTORF/ROYALTY, 1800s, Nelson Co.

I am the granddaughter of the last known surviving Potorf from the Nelson/Washington County branch. Any of you who had to deal with Flora Royalty yanking out your telephones in the old days may be glad of this fact, but I'm trying to find my grandfather's tree. As far as we know, the name died with him.

James Bruce "Dick" Potorf (1919-1980) was his name. His father was James Dalmon Potorf (1888,9-1922), who married Flora Royalty (?-1950s). Flora's brothers & sisters were Henry, Granville, Mary Helen, and one other sister whose name escapes me.

My grandfather's surviving cousin, Sarah Lee Royalty, worked at Beam for years.

My great-grandfather, James Dalmon, worked at Early Times for a period before Prohibition.
