Documented in 1860 Census as residing in Georgetown, Missouri in Pettis County, Missouri. Married Sarah Margaret Rector(probably from Nelson, Kentucky - father Henry Rector was born in 1809 in Nelson County, KY)in 20 March 1872.
Children included Harney Gilbert (H.G.), Jael Hortense, Mary Emmons, Ruth Mae,Sallie Vema and W.J. (William).
