Am writing re Welborns and others of Muhlenberg County KY. There is a
good Welborn book (written ca. 4-5 yrs ago) by Gail Miller on the
Welborns if you're interested. Drop me a note and I'll tell you how to contact her.
I believe that your Mattie was the d/o John Welborn s/o Benjamin
Welborn and Martha Weatherford who married in Muhlenberg County, KY,
27 Sep 1835. There is a good Muhl Co genwebsite if you haven't
discovered it.

The Welborns aren't my line. However, I can provide you with some
informtion on Martha Weatherford when and if you want to go in that
direction. Martha Weatherford was the d/o of Thomas Warren
Weatherford and Susannnah Blackwell. Susannah Blackwell was the d/o
Levi Blackwell and Martha Smith. Martha Smith was the d/o Peter Smith
and Jemima Simpson. A lot on World Connect about Peter and Jemima but
there are errors.
