Does anyone have books of the court or probate records for Metcalfe County around this time. I understand that some of these records are only available from 1867 onward.
However, John B. PAGE had underage children when he died and there may be some records of his estate involving them.
Does anyone know what his middle name was (or the middle names of his children other than the ones named below)?
At the time of his death, John was the minister of the Baptist Church (possibly the one called East Fork Baptist
Church). I haven't been able to determine a definite date of his death, how he died or where he was buried.
His wife was Nancy (b. COX) and his children were:
James Chastain PAGE, b. 1832
Robert PAGE, b. ca. 1844-1876
Josiah or Joseph Newton PAGE, b. ca. 1848
Lucy Margaret PAGE, b. 1851
John M. PAGE, b. ca. 1854
Henry Jeffers PAGE, b. 1855
John's wife Nancy and his youngest son are buried in the Summer Shade Cemetery and I have seen their gravestones.
