There is a small country community in Madison Co. Ky. named Bybee. I have been told it was named after a family of Bybees that lived there in the early 1800's, I dont know for sure if this is true. This is the area I grew up and there use to be several people out there at one time with the last name Bybee. There is also a pottery out there called Bybee Pottery.
