Bonnie, I've found the GAYHART & MEDLIN families on census before and after 1900, but did not find HOLCOMB etal in Floyd Co KY, or anywhere else, 1900/10 [census covers entire county]. I 1st catch Martha & Eliz. 1911 Salt Lake City, and prior to that ....1880 Floyd Co Martha & Adam GEARHART [GAYHART]; Henry P GAYHART in 1910 Mesa CO with w/Nora and her parents. Do you know why the move to UT?
Since Wm Russell HOLCOMB b 1895, I'm guessing father Henry either died or took off shortly after this date, since Martha had no more children. Possibly the ch were placed in an orphanage, or foster care.
