Wisdom GF - 1/3/02
I am researching Frankie Wisdom b. abt 1756 m. Edward Atkins. I believe Frankie's father was Francis Wisdom b. abt 1720 (murdered by Berryman Davis 1758) m. Ursula Bell. Francis's parents, I believe, were John Wisdom and Ann Collins.

Can you help with this. Do you have Wisdom wills that mention any of these folks.

Connor GF 6/1/05 #3419

Orange Co., Va. 13 May 1769 (Orange Co Deed Bk 15, p 237)
13 May 1769... Lewis Connor .. one of several men recorded to be "managers of a separate Baptist Meeting House" who leased the property for 99 years...
Virginia Herald (Fredericksburg, Va.) - Died- Near Flint Hill, in Culpeper County on Thursday, Feb. 9, Lewis Conner in his 86th year, a minister of the Baptist church. [in Newspaper] issue: Wednesday, March 14, 1832. ARW soldier
1790's he is found in court records as Lewis Conner, Gentleman, Justice of Culpeper County.
His wife was Susan or Susannah, (NOT the daughter of Capt. Uriel Mallory - they were the same age, as best a sister, however, no record has surfaced that would place her.)
Susan was the young widow of Berryman Davis whose will was recorded in Orange County 26 Jul 1764, they had 3 Davis daughters, who were very small when their father died.
Susan and Lewis Conner / Connor had 4 surviving children. I have pretty good records for these 4 children if you are looking for that kind of information.
Lewis' brother John Conner / Connor was also an early & noted Kentucky Baptist Minister as were a number of Connor nephews.
