Need information on Father of Robert Victor Prater in this obituary. Especially would like to know who John's parents are:

ASHLAND — Robert V. Prater, 85, of Ashland, passed away Friday evening, Dec. 14, 2012, in King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.

He was born Nov. 24, 1927, in Pikeville, a son of the late John and Grace Hobson Prater. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Ethel Fields Prater in 1997.

He was a member of Skyline Baptist Church and retired after 37 years of service with the Betsy Ross Bakery.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma Prater of Ashland; son, Robert “Bobby” Prater and his wife, Jennifer, of Ashland; daughters, Joan Combs and her husband, Robert, and Jerry Susan Renn of Ashland; step son, Christopher Thompson and his wife, Bethany, of Ashland; stepdaughter, Debra Blankenship and her husband, Carl, of Ohio; sister, Peggy Prater Mullins of Pikeville and 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by the Reverend William Prichard. Burial will follow in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland.
