State of Kentucky County of Owen Affidavit of H.C.Morrow The affiant, H.C.Morrow, states that he is a cousin of the George Morrow, now deceased, who was a soldier in the Union Army in the late Civil War, and was a member of Company E 30th Kentucky Infantry as shown by his pension papers; that he drew a pension from the United States Government; Affiant states the he was intimately acquainted with said soldier in his life time; that soon after the war said soldier lived on the place of affiant; that he was married to Fannie Crable who is now dead; that said soldier later married a woman named Romans with whom he lived as his wife and by whom he raised a family; that he was living with her several years ago the the last time I knew of them; that he is informed that said George Morrow is now dead, but that his said last wife is still living. His first wife was dead at the time he married the second wife who is now living. __Signed H.C.Morrow______ Personally appeared before me H.C.Morrow, who is personally known to me and known by me to be a man of integrity and worthy of belief, and in my presence subscribed and swore to the statements made in the foregoing affidavit, in my office at Owenton, Ky.
