I have a copy of an estate inventory page for this man who is the father of Eliza Dortch (Spriggs) Hardin.
I hope this is of some interest to someone.
To the Honorable Judge of Greenup County Court:
The undersigned Administrator of the Estate of George Dortch Deceased begs leave to make the following report of said Estate that has come to my hand since the 30th day of June 1871. this date of the Inventory reported to your honor by the appraisers of said Estate which should be charged to me in addition to the inventory as returned.
I have collected from Alexander Walker for rents of land in 1871, rented by said decedent before his death and which amount was not charged to me in the inventory $ 55.00
I also collected back a debt from Wm. Spriggs in favor of said Estate which has been paid by said decedent as the security of Spriggs and which has not been charged to me in Inventory $ 70.00

This is all of said Estate that has come to my hand since the making and filing of the Inventory returned by the appraisers of said Estate up to the present time and I know of no other property or claim in favor of said Estate that is likely to come to my hands.

I, George A. Corum Clerk of the Greenup County Court do certify that at a court held for said County on the 4th day of August 1873, the foegoing report of A.H. Bryson Administrator of the Estate of George Dortch deceased was produced to the court and ordered to be filed and recorded, which is accordingly done.
