We are working on gathering DNA from ANY Bondurant descendants in an attempt to connect several "orphan" lines with the immigrant ancestor Jean Pierre Bondurant. This has not been possible before since appropriate records in Virginia were burned.
Even if you have not proved your lineage back to Virginia, please get in touch with us. We have an extensive database of Bondurant descendants and might be able to help with your "brick wall."
Please email me for an invitation to the Bondurant DNA Project - members of the project can order Y-DNA tests and mtDNA (maternal) tests at a discount.
If you already have had a DNA test done, I hope you'll share your results with us - the more test results we have, the better we can match up descendants.
