The 1900 and 1920 census records indicate that her father was born in Michigan and her mother was born in Kentucky. The 1910 census indicates that her parents were born in Kentucky. A death record indicates that Cynthia was born in Garrard Co., KY on 24 Mar 1872 and died in Perryville, Boyle Co., KY 28 Feb 1949. This same death record shows her father as William Woodmanse. I found a William Woodmanse and family on the 1900 Mason Co., KY census? Is this Cynthia's father?
In the 1870 Garrard Co., KY census I found a Velma Woodnancy age 22 with a Cynthia Woodnancy age 4 living with a Martha A Naylor family which indicates that Cynthia was born about 1866. I found no additional records on Velma and Cynthia. I believe that Velma should read Zelma.
Cynthia married D James Middleton and lived in Garrard and Boyle Counties. Is this James the son of Yantis and Elizabeth Middleton?
Does anyone have information on the parents and/or grandparents of Cynthia Woodmansee and D James Middleton? Thanks.
