Mildred J. Burris
b. May, 1834 Kentucky
d. Feb. 1918 Idaho (is burried at Norton Cemetery, McCammon, Idaho)

Charles Robert Perry (my GGGrandpa)
Birth: 04 Dec 1856
Missouri
Death: 10/04/1941
Bannock, Idaho
Married Margaret Stowe in Marsh Valley, Idaho 21 August 1884.

Family is Irish and American Indian, probably Chickasaw or Choctaw, Cherokee. Married into the Shoshone Tribe in Idaho. Never listed as Indian, (GGrandpa Walt listed as Mulato on Idaho Census in 1920) always says "white".

I have not found a marriage license that I'm sure of although I think Mildred's husband is Samuel Perry. I have a census for a Perry family, 1860, in Lexington Missouri, with Mildred and Samuel, but the Robert has the middle initial "D" (my gggrandfather went by both Charles & Robert). I also have the same family in 1870, in Kingston Missouri, Samuel is not listed, perhaps he died; Mildred's marital status is not listed. There are twin babies in the household, age 1, so Samuel had to be alive up until at least November of 1868 (census is in July).

Mildred, b. 1838, Kentucky
Mary, b. 1855, Missouri
Henry, b. 1857, Missouri
Robert, b. 1859, Missouri
Thomas, b. 1861, Missouri
Martha, b. 1863, Missouri
Walter, b. 1864, Missouri
Ida & Edward, b. 1869, Missouri

GGGrandfather Charlie had children: Walter Daniel, Charles Henry, William Wesley, Mildred, Margaret, Robert, Maud, & Thomas Edward. The names just seems too coincidental.

In 1870 there is an Elza Martin, married to Mary (for 1 year) also in the household. Cannot find hide-nor-hair of either of them after this.

I have Charlie, listed as Robert, working for the railroad in Texas in 1880.

Have found what maybe two of his brothers, one in Texas, one in Arizona.
