I strongly believe my George W Morrow died 1915 Sparta,Gallatin,Ky(not 100%, need pension) He was in 30th Ky Infantry Regiment Co. E on his pension it says Harriet G is his widow and that he became invalid 17 Apr 1896 Civil War Pension Index: General Index to Pension Files, 1861-1934 George W. Morrow Name: George W. Morrow State Filed: Kentucky Widow: Harriett G. Morrow On the 1910 census it shows he was in Civil War, it also shows next to that column he was blind. Which goes along with invalid date of 1896. On this record his wife Harriet G filed a claim for pension on 14 July 1915 which is almost a month after he died 19 June 1915. Kentucky Death Records, 1852-1953 about George Munn Name: George Munn [George Morrow] Death Date: 19 Jun 1915 Death Location: Gallatin Residence Location: Gallatin Age: 72 Gender: Male Ethnicity: White Birth Date: 8 Jan 1843 Birth Location: Kentucky Father's Name: Hirah Monroe Father's Birth Location: Kentucky I'm not sure about this part though! On 25 June 1870 census a George Morrow lived in a poor house according to THE LEFT MARGIN OF CENSUS, with Fannie(Crable) The George W Morrow that died in 1915 died at a poor farm, death record states burial is poor farm. I believe the Joseph and Tempe Crable that are listed under her on 1870 census might be her parents. The 23 June 1870 census shows him with Fannie under his mother Delitha and brother Gano. Maybe they just bought the house? or they was visiting, but it states his value was 500.00 I haven't figured that out yet. There is no record so far for Fannie's death, but I think she died giving birth or she got sick. And he married Harriet G Romans 1870-1871. Because there is no record of Fannie after 1870. On Harriet's death record, it states 1918 she was a widow. Which would go with the 1915 death of George. Kentucky Death Records, 1852-1953 about Harriett Morrow Name: Harriett Morrow Death Date: 20 Oct 1918 Death Location: Kenton Residence Location: Kenton Gender: Female Ethnicity: White Harriet and their son Henry Clay and his daughters Laura and Georgia died Oct 1918 from Spanish Influenza epidemic. I have newspaper clippings of it. His wife Ava Browning-Tucker-Morrow survived along with dau Addie(discharged from hospital). Notify Administrator about this message?
