not related. Ronnie Cotton was alive in May 24, 2007. He is list in the following obituary.

Linda Joan Collins

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. ? Linda Joan Collins, 64, of Dawson Springs, Ky., died at 2:40 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2007, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville.

She was born Sept. 23, 1942, in Hopkins County, Ky., to Bennie and Elsie Bennett Cotton. She was a 1960 graduate of South Hopkins High School. She was a homemaker and a teacher?s aide at Dawson Springs Community School for 13 years. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Hubert Cotton; and a sister, Edith Bell Cotton.

She is survived by her husband, Leon Collins of Dawson Springs, Ky.; one daughter, Tammy Workman of Dawson Springs; one son, Deon Collins of Dawson Springs; two sisters, Anna Lou Chappell of Dawson Springs and Willa Dean Barnes of Sturgis, Ky.; three brothers, Ronnie Cotton and Paul Cotton, both of Dawson Springs, and Darris ?Pevie? Cotton of Madisonville; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs with the Rev. Bobby McKnight officiating. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs.

Pallbearers will be Tim Cotton, Casey Cotton, B.J. Cotton, Skyler Cotton, Scott Chappell and Benji Chappell. Honorary pallbearer will be Adam Cotton.

Visitation will be from 5:30 until 9:00 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may be sent to Tammy and Kent Workman in Dawson Springs.
