We are willing to help where we can but you need to furnish more information. Unfortunately surnames such as Smith and Johnson are just too numerous to check without at least a time reference. For instance, the 1930 census lists almost 24,000 James Smiths....almost 800 of which lived in Kentucky.

Approximate birth/death dates? Sibling names? Children's names? Where did they live in Kentucky (county names please)? The more clues you can furnish the more likely we will be able to find your family.
