Wondering if your Shearer's are descendents of William Christian Shearer born 1735 NC possibly Rowan Co? Some of the family migrates to Wayne Co VA then resides in Lawrence and Carter Co's of KY. Sarah Shearer Rucker( 1841 Carter Co, KY) is my 3x ggrandmother, ggrandaughter to William Christian. Just wondering if we connect? Have a great New Year! Tia
