Looking for information on William J. Stanley. His name is on a plaque in front of Pike Co., Court House as listed as died in action in World War II.
From ancestry.com I found a William J. Stanley died 12-3-1944, buried in the Netherlands, recieved the purple heart and silver star medal....was in the 25th Field Artillery Battalian, 84th Division...inducted in Virginia, nativety Kentucky born 1921.
Would anyone be able help me find out who his family are?
