Born 1830 Louisville. 5 sisters. Orphans around 1833. Need to locate school/church records for John Charles DeForest between 1830 and 1864. He married Malinda Reed in Independence, MO July, 1864. Father may have been steamboat pilot William DeForest. William was listed in 1832 Louisville City Directory. Thanks for help.
