My grandmother Ethel Campbell Cook was born in Colorado in 1888.
I assume that her parents died, she was adopted when she was 3 years old by J D & Martha Wilcox and moved to Texas. Her birth parents were born in Kentucky. Being that her middle name is Campbell, I thought maybe that her mother's maiden name might have been Campbell. I guess her parents moved to Colorado sometime around the early 1880's. This is not much to go on but maybe there are Campbells or Cooks in Kentucky with information.
