I am looking for my gGrandfather’s people. He was Roscoe (spelling not certain) William Griffith. Roscoe married Nora McCoy Griffith, b. Oct 14, 1881 – d. Nov 15, 1966. Roscoe was a carpenter and he fell off house & broke back. He survived the accident but suffered until his death. He did father 12 children before the accident, so he was at least in his late 30s when he died. My grandmother Rosa Virginia Griffith Morrison was born Oct 01, 1915.
I’m looking for the parents of Roscoe William Griffith and his wife Nora McCoy. I cannot find mention of either of them anywhere. They were possibly from West Virginia or Kentucky originally. There are family members that remember that is where Nora had family.
Any ideas how I should continue my search for either of their origins?
