Out of the 6 sons of Lindsay Harris d 1802/3 Orange Co., Va, there is one son, William Harris, that I do not have any information. He would have been born sometime between 1778-1802. His parents were Lindsay Harris & Frances Atkins of Orange Co., Va. He had 9 siblings: Jane, Elijah, David H., Susannah, Lucy, Hezekiah, Matilda, Brockman, Francis.
There is an Orange Co., Va marriage of a William Harris & Peggy Gibson 24 Jan 1820, wit: Reynolds Chapman; bondsman: Peter Gibson, guardian Peter Gibson-- which is one possibility but I've been unsuccessful in trying to find anything about this couple.
Would like to know if there's anyone out there who might possibly have a Gibson/Harris marriage in their database that coincides with the 1820 time period.
