The only other thing I can suggest is for you to go to your largest local library, or LDS center, and have them order you in an 1860 SOUNDEX Microfilm for the name of Robinson, in the state of KY and also the one for the state of IL.

It will cost you about $4 or $5 each, and take about 2 or 3 weeks to come in, but this is a very good way to find people. You will be able to view the film, at the facility that you rent it from, for about 2 or 3 weeks.

On the film, you will see images of what appears to be index cards. Each image, will give the name of the head of the household, and every one who is living in it. Their names, their ages, and the state of their birth, and the county that they are in.

You SHOULD be able to locate him that way. They make the soundex microfilm for every year of the census, and for every state of the country.
