Stuckers of Bryan's Station

STUCKER/STONER/CASTEEL? in WOODFORD
and FAYETTE COUNTIES
Circa 1779-80, two brothers, George and Jacob Stucker, left North Carolina, with their families, and travelled with Daniel Boone through the Cumberland Gap. By 1782, they were living at or near Bryan's Station, which was founded by and/or named for a member of Rebecca Boone's family.
George and Jacob were apparently killed at the Battle of Blue Licks in August 1782. However, their descendants remained in Kentucky, mainly in Woodford and Fayette Counties. Some moved on to Indiana within 20-30 years later.
I would appreciate hearing from any descendants of those two gentlemen regarding filling in blanks on that branch of my tree. In conjunction therewith, I would indicate that a Michael Stoner married into the Stucker family and was in Kentucky at that same time with Boone. A couple of Casteel/Castile/Castle/Cassell women also married into the family during that period. If anyone knows anything about those people, a holler would be appreciated! Thanks!
Ron Stocker
