John Dye - 1810 census

There were two John Dyes listed in the 1810 census for Mason county, KY. Both were OVER 45 years of age. Apparently one was the son of William and Phebe Dye. Does anyone know who the other John was? I'm looking for John Kelley Dye, born about 1760 and listed circa 1790 in Warren county, NC, records. He was the son of Martin Dye II, the grandson of Martin Dye I, and the great-grandson of Avery Dye of Richmond county, VA. Might the second John in Mason county be him?
