Judy--
Thanks so much for the great information. I have not been to Mayfield, but I would love to go and see what I can find. I'm very interested in the Rozzell Chapel. If you could E-Mail me the information on the cemetery and the Rozzells buried there that would be great. I'm glad you have found more information on your Morefields. You are right, it is so hard to get information when you have so little to work on. I am working on several lines that at one time were around
the same area. The Rozzells from Mayfield, the Hamiltons from Calloway County, McCracken County, and Marshall County. The Hamiltons lived around Marshall County from about 1840 to about 1910 when some moved to Arkansas and others moved to Illinois-- some probably stayed in Kentucky. I am not sure. My Catheys lived in Tennessee in the mid 1700s and about 1830 they moved to Kentucky. I have found them in 1860 Marshall County, but from 1830s to 1860s I don't know where they were. It is certainly interesting and when you find a little bit of information it always amazes me. Thanks again for your reply.

Loren
