After 20 years, I think I may have found my gg Grandmother, Elizabeth Murphy's parents. But I'm in Indiana and can't seem to find any data after 1880 for Marion county, Ky other then census data -- I've sent out many queries and emailed the Marion Co library but I'm not getting any return. I'm desperate for help and info. I need to find info on the family of Joseph Murphy b.abt 1814 KY, wife, Julia Ann Abell, and their children: George Green Murphy b. Sept 1850 KY & Eliza Jane (Murphy) Gribbons Brown- b.1834 KY widow of John Gribbons & Felix Brown.
Joseph & Julia A. Abell Murphy were last listed on the 1880 Marion Co, census--
George Green Murphy was last listed on the 1900 Marion Co census--
Eliza Jane Gribbons Brown was last listed on the 1870 Owen Co, Indiana census then her children are listed again on the 1880 and later Marion Co, KY censuses--
